What a fab day AGAIN!!!
Arthur wins BEST IN SHOW
Saturday 22nd June 2013. On a very cold, wet and windy Summers day!!
The rings were a bog of mud, not ideal, but turn out to be a fab day
A very early start, up at 2.30am to travel to Blackpool show.
Our judge today was breed specialist Mr George Clarke
I took with me Casper, Banjo and Chaos
We had a lovely placings - Casper 2nd in Puppy Dog, Banjo 2nd in Limit Dog, and Chaos was 3rd in Open Dog
BUT the star of the day was Jenny and Arhtur (Meadowdale Alabama Slammer of Acregate ShCM). He won the Open dog class, and to our delight went onto win the CC
This makes Arthur a SHOW CHAMPION
Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, well done Jenny and Arthur
On the same day, Jenny and Arthur were showing at East Riding Gundog Open Show.

Sunday 16th June 2013, I take Casper to SWECA Open Show, Delighted when he won 'Best Puppy' and 'Best of Breed'

Then going onto win Gundog Group 2 (so pleased as he is still only 9 months old)
And the icing on the cake he WINS the Puppy Gundog Group
Sunday 9th June 2013, was the Northern ESS Championship Show.

I was unfortunately not able to be there as I was juding myself, but the 'Meadowdale' flag was well flown!!!
Jennie Tracz was showing Arthur in Open Dog, and was delighted to win the class and go on to win the RDCC - well done to them. Bringing Arthurs tally to 2 CC's and 3RCC's
Sue Large was also showing Meadowdale Riot is Madaza, and was 2nd in Limit behind the CC winner. Again a big well done

And now for something different!
After getting home from a very successful Southern Counties show, I rush off to Kent to meet up with friend Mark Andrews who shows Pointers.
We are heading off to Holland, and a show in OSS!!!
Catching the Eurostar to France, driving through Belgium and arriving in Holland.
I only took with me Banjo, and Mark had his pointer Vespa.
Thrilled when Banjo was awarded the CAC, CACIB, and BOB.
A wonderful day, catching up with Helma and Daphne Van Den Brink and Jeanne Van Beers, thank you for your help and assistance.

Friday 31st May 2013, we had an early start, even though it was our local show and only 2 hours away in Newbury, Getting to this show on a Friday morning can be a nightmare!!!
Today showing all 3 boys, Banjo,Chaos, and Casper. Our judge Mr Glynn Griffiths
The first time we have been able to show out on the grass, as it was a warm and sunny day
Casper was first up, in the Puppy dog class, delighted to win the class, as there were some lovely puppies in the class.
Banjo was in LImit Dog, again delighted as he won the class in stiff competition. Rye (Meadowdale Riot is Madaza) was 3rd in the class, his firtst time up in the limit class, well done to them
Chaos was in the Good Citizen class, and won the class.
Thank you to the JAckie Mitchell and Edith Rose for handling in the challenge for me.
Thrilled when Banjo was awarded his 2nd CC & Best of Breed, and Casper won Best Puppy In Breed. A wonderful day.

Saturday 18th May 2013, I did the long drive up to Edinburgh taking with me, Banjo, Chaos and Casper (this is Casper's first show!)
A super day for the 'Meadowdale Kennel'.
Our judge today - Mr John Lillie (Freeway)
Casper was first up in Minor Puppy Dog, delighted when he won the class.
Banjo was shown in the LImit dog class, pleased with his 2nd place (behind the eventual CC winner)
Chaos was in the Open class and thrilled that he won, and the lovely Arthur (Meadowdale Alabama Slammer at Acregate) was second.
Back into the challenge with Casper (many thanks to Beth for handling Casper for me) and Chaos. Chaos delighted me by winning the RDCC and Casper winning Best Puppy DOg.
Casper then had to challenge the puppy bitch, thrilled that at his very first show, he won 'Best Puppy In Breed'

Friday 10th May 2013, WHAT A FAB DAY
I took Banjo and Chaos off up to Stafford, to the 'National Championship Dog Show'
Our Judge was breed specialist - Mr Colin Woodward (Wadeson)
First up was Banjo, he won 2nd place in a strong Limit class
Next to show was Chaos, he was in Open.
The winner of the Open Class was Jennie & Arthur (Meadowdale Alabama Slammer of Acregate)
Chaos was 2nd benhind Arthur.
Arthur then went onto win the DCC (his 2nd) such a proud moment, Chaos was called back in to challenge for the RDCC - and WON IT!
Such a super, fab, lovely day One to remember

Sunday 5th May 2013, a long journey to the other end of the country to go under judge John Thirlwell at the ESS Club of Scotland.
Taking with me Banjo and Jinx
Banjo won the Limit Dog class and Jinx was 3rd in Junior and won the Novice Bitch class.
Ate rather too much chocolate on the way home!!!!
