What a dreadful month May has turned out to be. Thursday 31st May 2012 we had to say goodbye to Buddy.
Buddy was my shadow and loving companion.
Our first homebred Show Champion, to us he will always be a superstar.
Such a gentle, fun loving and devoted dog who was always so full of life.
I miss him dreadfully, and so soon after we lost his mother - Connie.
His sire was Sh Ch Calvdale Crimewatch, his dam, our Connie - Calvdale Guilty as Charged of Meadowdale.
It is with a very heavy heart we tell you that 'Princess Connie' has passed over to rainbow bridge, on 18th May 2012.
Born 24th February 1998, her sire was Sh Ch Wadeson Inspector Wexford and her dam was Sh Ch Calvdale Curtsey To The Moon. She is the foundation for all our current dogs. What a wonderful legacy she has left for us.
Connie was a wonderful girl, with a super temperament. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her, especially Nick & Sally.
Pictured with her son 'Meadowdale Aladin' who is himself now 12 years old!
on Thursday 17th May I make the journey to Preston to stay with Sue, and her 2 springers Rye & Jeeves.
Very early on the Friday morning we all head of to SKC, the weather was dreadful, but luckily we were showing in the main hall and not the tents! as they were swimming!
Rye (Meadowdale Riot is Madaza) and Chaos were first up in the Junior Class, delighted for Sue and Rye when they won the class, Chaos was second behind his brother.
Next up was Banjo, he was in the Post Graduate Class, delighted as he won the class.
Sue was in Limit with Jeeves, and how proud when he was 2nd in the class.
Lastly, I was in the Junior Stakes class with Banjo, pleased to be placed 4th in a large class.
Monday 7th May 2012, an other super day. Chaos wins both the Junior and Post Graduate Classes, and Banjo wins the Open Class
Chaos was declared 'Best of Breed', going onto win Gundog Group 4
These wins gave Chaos the last point he needed to gain his 'Junior Warrant'
Today the 5th May 2012, I head off to Newark Showground, to my delight Chaos won the Junior and Post Graduate Classes going onto win 'Best of Breed'
In the group winning Gundog Group 3
We were sad to hear from Dave and Shelagh, with the sad loss of 'Toby', pedigree name was 'Meadowdale Bali'.
He had a super life with Dave & Shelagh, and lived to a week short of his 16th birthday.
Thank you to Dave & Shelagh for having Toby as part of your family for so many years.
