On Sunday the 6th December, Jenny takes Arthur - Meadowdale Alabama Slammer of Acregate to a local all breed 'Open Show'
To her delight, Arthur won 1st in AVNSC, then onto win the Gundog Group and finally - Reserve Best In Show'

On Friday 13th November (!) I travelled to Scotland with friend Lesley and her two English Springers. I had no dogs, as I was judging the German Shorthaired Pointers. The show was held near Edinburgh on the Saturday.
The weather for the weekend was very wet and very windy!
I had a super entry of GSP's and was delighted with my winners, it was an honour to judge this lovely breed.
Lesley also had a good day, as Eula won Minor Puppy Bitch (Eula is a daughter of our Harvey), so well done to them.
On Sunday 1st November 2009, myself with Harvey, Ash, Jazz and Fay, travel with our friend Lesley, and her 2 girls Isla and Eula to the Midland ESS Championship show. We arrive to pounding rain - lovely!
Today was Ash's (Woodspa Ash) first ever show and he was in Minor Puppy Dog, and delighted us by winning. Ash is in the photo to the right. Dad to Ash and Eula is Harvey
Harvey was a respectable 4th in Limit dog, Jazz did well and was 2nd in Puppy Bitch, and Fay was 3rd in Open Bitch
Lesley had a super day with Eula, winning Minor Puppy Bitch (she is the litter sister to Ash) and went onto win Reserve Best Puppy in show - Well done to them.
Sunday 25th October, a trip to Stafford to go under gundog judge Tom Graham.
I took Harvey and Ginny. But first up was Arthur (Meadowdale Alabama Slammer at Acregate) he was the star today, by winning a super Junior class - Well done to Jenny and Arthur.
Harvey was 2nd in the biggest class of the day - Limit dog, and GInny was 3rd in Junior bitch.
So not a bad day in all
I was delighted and honoured to judge the SWESS Open Show on the 18th October 2009.
It was a lovely show, and I had super dogs to judge.

Wednesday 14th October, saw another early mid week show. This time taking Harvey, Ginny & Fay. It was a stunningly beautiful day, most unexpected for October.
Harvey was 2nd in a very strong Limit class, GInny was 3rd in Junior and Fay in the strongest class of bitches for a long time was 5th in Open Bitch - Our judge today was John Thirlwell (Ferndell)
Harvey was also 2nd in the Open Stakes
Thursday 8th October, I head to Buith Wells in Wales for the South Wales Championship Show. Taking Harvey, Jazz and Flora.
Harvey won the Limit dog class and we were delighted to win the RCC
Jazz won the Puppy bitch class going onto win 'Best Puppy in Breed' - Then Gundog Puppy Group 3' - Photo right of the principle winners
Flora won a 3rd place in Open Bitch - Our judge today was Sue Aston (Tasa)

Friday the 2nd October, up North again, this time to Weatherby Racecourse, a lovely venue, shame about the vile weather. So all judging was done inside.
Harvey won a lovely Limit dog class. Ginny was 4th in the Junior Bitch class and her sister Meadowdale Margarita at Ketsby was 3rd in the same class. Ginny delighted us by winning a 2nd place in the Junior Stakes and Arthur (Meadowdale Alabama Slammer at Acregate) not to be outdone was 3rd in the Junior dog Stakes
Others to do well were, Meadowdale Shooting Star, winning a 2nd place in a strong Post Graduate class.
Harvey's offspring also had a good day - Chelmeress Peter Pan at Intor won a 2nd place in Puppy dog. Woodspa Eucalyptus won a 2nd in Minor Puppy Bitch
So not a bad day in all
Jazz (Jazz Singer of Meadowdale - a daughter of Harvey) was in the puppy bitch class. This was her very first show, and we were delighted when she won the class.

Ginny was 2nd in Junior, and Flora was at her first show for a year and was 4th in Open bitch
So we had a long but pleasing day
Friday 25th September 2009, I set off on the long journey to Belfast in Northern Ireland. Having a short stop in Liverpool to pick up Jenny and Arthur.
The ferry to Belfast was a calm and quiet affair, as it was 4am in the morning!
We had change of judge, now being Kathy Gorman.
First up was Arthur (Meadowdale Alabama Slammer at Acregate), he won the junior dog class. He is pictured right.
Next was Harvey, he was in the Open class, and was 2nd, and was called back into the Challenge and won the RCC
Harvey has now won in total - 2 CC's, 1 BOB and 3 RCC's
Well off we went again, Harvey and Ginny up north to Darlington. It was a beautiful day again.
Harvey won the Limit class and got down to the last 3 in the Challenge. Ginny won a 2nd place in Junior.
Eula (Woodspa Eucalyptus) who is Harvey's daughter, was at her very first show, and she won the Minor puppy bitch class - well done Lesley and Eula.
Jenny and Arthur (Meadowdale Alabama Slammer at Acregate) had a wonderful win in the Junior stakes winning on the day, and then has to challenge the other 2 day winners, and he was runner up - brilliant win for Jenny and Arthur.

Sunday 13th September 2009, Harvey, Ginny and I head south to the Richmond Championship Show.
It was a lovely day to show the dogs, certainly cooler than the day before!
Harvey was first up in Limit Dog, which I was delighted when he won this strong class.
And Delighted even further to win the DCC

Ginny did well and was 3rd in her class

Early on Saturday morning on the 8th August, I head down to Bournemouth Championship Show with Harvey and Ginny. What a super day we had
Harvey was in a very strong Limit class, which he won. Later on in the challenge he delighted us by winning the 'RCC'
Ginny won a lovely 2nd place in Puppy Bitch and also won the Novice class. I later took Ginny into the 'Proplan Pup of the Year' Stakes and again was delighted to win it!
So came home very happy if a little red faced due to the heat!
14th July was my birthday and as a present I was given a 1-2-1 session with a professional photographer - to help my photography skills!!!
Really enjoyed my day, even if I did get soaked! Here are some of the shots taken afterwards to put into practice what I had learnt. Still a long way to go, but hopefully getting there.
Quality is not as good as the originals, asthey have been very reduced to go onto the web.
